Camping Out Pigs in a Blanket
10 hot dogs
10 refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
Cheese (optional)
Wrap a biscuit around each hot dog, pinching the edges together. (Both ends
of the hot dog
will stick out.) Roast on a roasting fork or stick over hot
coals (not flames) for 10 to 15 minutes,
or until biscuit is baked and golden.
Dont place the hot dog too close to the hot coals
or the biscuit will be
done on the outside before the inside.
Optional: Split hot dog and put cheese in it before wrapping the biscuit
around it.
Be careful the cheese doesnt run out before the biscuit is done.
Makes 5 servings.
