Gourmet Pork Chops
8 center cut pork chops
1/4 c. butter (we used 1 - 2 Tbs)
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
Paprika
2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 c. white wine
2 tsp. bottled garlic spread (not sure what this is; didn't use)
1 c. sour cream
Brown pork chops in butter. Season with spices. Remove from skillet. Add
mushrooms to drippings and sautee. Mix in remaining ingredients, except sour
cream; stir well until blended. return chops to skillet. Cover and simmer
1 hour (we did for about 30 mins) or until done. Lower heat, stir in sour
cream and heat through; do not boil.
