Tangy Vegetable Biryani
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
2 cups Mixed vegetables (beans, carrots, potatoes, peas)
3-4 tomatoes (chopped)
1 big onion
1 TBS garlic puree
1 tsp. Ginger puree
1 TBS garam masala or all spice
1 tsp. Chilli powder
salt to taste
4 cups cooked rice
4-5 tsp. Ghee
1 bunch mint
Method of cooking:
Chop the onions and fry them in the ghee till golden brown add the
ginger garlic paste and fry it for 2 minutes, then add all the
vegetables and tomatoes and let them cook for 10 minutes then add the
garam masala salt and chilli powder and let it cook till the vegetables
are cooked, now add the rice and mix well and take it off heat. Serve
hot with any raita.This is easy and fast to cook and has good nutritious
value.
