No Power - No Electricity

We are the only area of town; for as far as the eye can see - north, south, east or west that actually has power. Everyone else is pitch black, except for the occasional generator. Spooky. Kinda like being in the Twilight Zone.

I can’t take the heat. I don’t know what the temperature is, but it feels like 2000 degrees. It doesn’t help that we woke with a broken air conditioner.
