I Lost My Giblets

I Lost My Giblets! I have no idea where they went. I have the neck to the turkey but the giblets are gone. I even looked in the trash.
Where oh where have my giblets gone? Where oh where can they be???

Not only that, we’re out of salt and I don’t have any eggs. That’s what I get for shopping a week in advance. Next thing you know, the turkey is gonna get up and walk out of here on it’s own.

So while making stuffing I couldn’t figure out why it was so dry. Duh. How
about adding some chicken broth????

So I get the turkey stuffed and trussed. Then realized I forgot to season the inside
of the bird.

Sigh. But on the plus side I found me giblets.

There’s a pan on the stove, just washed. I notice a burner is on, under the pan that has
just been washed.

What do I do?

Put my hand in the pan. Yes, it was hot, yes it burned. Good thing I had just washed
my hands and they were wet.

I have no business being in the kitchen today.

Forgot to set the timer and I forgot how long the turkey’s been in. God forbid I should look at a clock!

Mashed Potatoes - made with real potatoes and half and half

Pole beans - I made butterbean soup on Monday and cooked ham hocks. I took out some of that broth for the pole beans as well as ham.

Corn

Cranberry Sauce

Rolls

4 Pies: Apple, Pumpkin, Pecan and Mincemeat.

Giblets are cooking in chicken broth with hearts of celery,salt,pepper and garlic.

Turkey about done, yams are ready to go in the oven. The yams are done with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and butter on top. Marshmallows will go on top as well.

I’ve dropped the cinnamon (closed) in the pole beans, brown sugar all over the floor, and dropped a whole potato down the garbage disposal. My back hurts.
